While fiddling around with the CSS3 box-shadow property, I stumbled across a method to put a double border on a single element. I thought to myself, that’s pretty cool, but obviously, it will only work in newer browsers that support box-shadow.

Love this kind of CSS play, reminds me of the good old days…

With “Carmageddon” looming in Los Angeles, I decided to take my “LA with no cars” video and re-edit it with new music, coloring and opening shots. Editing was done in Final Cut, coloring done with After Effects and shot on a Canon 60D.
